Located on the East Coast of Queensland, Sunferries operates out of Townsville approximately half way between Cairns and Mackay. Townsville is the capital of North Queensland and is a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. 

Ferry services to Magnetic Island depart from the Breakwater Terminal, Townsville on Sir Leslie Thiess Drive. The terminal is conveniently located in close proximity to the Townsville CBD and serviced by public buses, coaches, taxis and airport transfer buses.  Facilities at the Breakwater Terminal include car parking ($5 a day), a café offering both hot and cold food, internet den, Greyhound Check in desk , Sunferries Travel desk, ATM and amenities.

Nelly Bay Terminal welcomes you to Magnetic Island where passengers can book tours, accommodation, purchase bus passes and hire cars conveniently through Sunferries Travel's second tour desk located inside the terminal.
