March has become another cruise ship filled month taking our experienced crews south to Airlie Beach and north to Port Douglas for passenger transfers. The Oriana cruise ship of the P&O Cruise Line anchored off Airlie Beach bringing with it 280 passengers that ventured to the mainland to explore. The arrival of the Aurora also of the P&O Cruise Line bought much excitement as we had the pleasure of transferring 680 passengers to Port Douglas then 1200 passengers to Townsville the following day. The Aurora passengers had the opportunity to explore Magnetic Island and Townsville during their brief stopover. Crews then travelled to Cairns to transfer passengers off the international cruise ship the Queen Victoria.
Cruise ship transfers provide Sunferries the chance to show people from all around Australia and the world what Queensland has to offer and the ability to showcase just how beautiful Magnetic Island is so they will come back for their next holiday or tell their friends!
